revision of brochure part 1

Okay, so I took some things that were said and revised my brochure. Here's where I am at right now.
So this is the FRONT. The crease in the middle is where the two pages meet like a gate fold.

Open it up and this is what the INSIDE looks like
Then, lastly the BACK and front covers on separate sides.

  1. Elena – The changes are good - but I still can see that the 2 columns of type on the inside are moving over the folds. This really is a problem. Body copy cannot simply ignore a fold because the small sized type will become distorted as the paper folds. So... the inside layout here should contain 3 columns - 2 columns on either side will be more narrow than the column in the middle (because the side panels are more narrow than the back panel). Hopefully this text can be rewritten so there are 3 subsections... one for each panel. I also can see that you may need to increase the margins left and right along the trim edge... your column of text seems to be really close. Rule of thumb: the negative space that follows a trim edge should be no less than 2 picas... and other more than 2 picas.
